braces 80% PA 20% EA. Air XTRM Dual Pad: The revolutionary Air XTRM Dual Pad radically changes the concept
of traditional seat pads, setting a new standard for comfort and
breathability. Entirely developed in Italy to meet rh+’s very precise
technical requirements.
The pad is composed of two distinct elements that have very specific
characteristics: closest to the rider’s skin we have developed a highly
elastic, preshaped comfort layer with a microfiber mesh which is
highly breathable and offers excellent moisture management as well
as antimicrobial properties from the carbon fiber filaments. Stitched
into the bibshorts the comfort layer has a variable thickness foam (up
to 10mm) with 120Kg/m3 density: offers comfort, support and vibration
dampening.
These two unique elements are not completely attached, this is one of
the great advantages of the new Air XTRM Dual Pad: the inner pad,
in contact with the skin, stays in place while any possible movement
occurs between the two layers rather than between the pad and the
body. The external pad layer in 3d Airmesh is also highly abrasion
resistant. These elements combine to offer exceptional comfort and
to virtually eliminate the possibility for skin abrasion or irritation from
the pad. The inner pad layer is perforated with a ‘dynamic’ structure
which is micro sliced for active airflow and increased breathability
while riding to further improve moisture wicking.
